Telecoms Expense Analyst, Data Analyst
Our client, the UK branch of an expanding international organisation, is at an exciting formative stage, shortly to provide the support for all European customers, backed up by operations in the US.
Seeking a Telecom Expense Analyst who will be supporting clients and colleagues with daily operational tasks and analytical reporting to assist the Client with managing their telecommunications expenses. Considering the new office start-up environment, the successful candidate will be somebody keen to participate in any aspects of the business as/if/when required.
Snapshot of Job Functions:
- Review scanned invoices to identify client and account structure, and inventory items.
- Manage weekly standard client reporting process. This includes creating, researching, correcting, and posting the weekly reports in the company's portal for each client.
- Maintain inventory and cost centre coding for each client.
- Research client requests related but not limited to invoice questions.
- Creating trend reports, researching trend variances, analysing telecommunication expenses specific to each client, making amendments and delivering completed reports.
- Assist in the implementation of new clients and other special projects.
The successful candidate:
- Solid education, ideally University degree or other relevant IT / finance higher education qualification
- Knowledge of Telecoms industry is preferred
- Customer-facing with excellent relationship-building skills
- Strong analytical & problem solving skills, organised, an eye for detail
- Excellent knowledge of Excel - demonstrating ability to create complex formulas, pivot tables, charts, and massive data management
- Any European language will be a distinct advantage.
