Bury St Edmunds

£23,000 - £26,000 p.a.

An opportunity has arisen for an EPOS Helpdesk Supervisor to join this busy team.

The successful candidate will have a good understanding of customer service and will drive a ‘customer is King’ culture within the EPOS team.

You MUST have;

*
Experience in a team leading helpdesk role

*
STRONG knowledge of EPOS retail systems

*
Good understanding of SQL Databases and basic administration

*
Proficient experience in current MS Windows platforms

A proactive approach will be required to understand and reduce the ongoing support issues, with detailed investigation into the root causes and implementing permanent solutions. A focus into minimising impact and disruption whilst support and menu work is completed.

The position will also assist in the reduction of ongoing costs within the department.

The successful applicant will have a good sense of urgency and flexibility and have the ability to prioritise their own workload and the workload of the EPOS team within a defined framework.

Key Tasks

-          Supervising and motivating a small team of EPOS Helpdesk Administrators

-          Planning and allocation of all Menu and promotion updates across the estate.

-          Daily reporting of workload plans to the business and line manager.

-          Point of contact for marketing to deliver and manage menu updates.

-          Daily monitoring and review of EPOS provider escalations.

-          Weekly service meetings with EPOS account manager, reporting key findings to line manager.

-          Assist in the out of hours monitoring of EPOS provider support escalations.

-          Help drive change in helpdesk ways of working.
